About
I’m Dan Nicholson. I’m a software engineer that enjoys solving problems and figuring out how to integrate systems. I consider myself something of a “full stack engineer” in that I’m comfortable working in lots of different areas such as operating systems, infrastructure (DevOps), services and even a bit in web app frontends.
I have a master’s degree in electrical engineering and have worked in RF circuits and communications in the past. I started working on software as a hobby when I stumbled upon Linux around 2003. Gradually that started to take over my free time and in 2014 I took the plunge and switched careers. Currently I’m employed as a principal software engineer at Endless OS Foundation.
